Request deletion of your SkillNav account and all associated data

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your SkillNav account using one of the following methods:

Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

  1. 1 Open the SkillNav app on your device
  2. 2 Go to Settings (gear icon in the bottom navigation)
  3. 3 Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
  4. 4 Confirm it is you again, using the way you sign in (password, Google, Apple or a phone code)
  5. 5 Confirm deletion when prompted

Our servers delete your account and data right away. The only things that remain are listed in the table below.

Method 2: Email Request

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email:

Include the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and process your request within 7 business days.

Data Deletion Details

When you delete your account, the following data is affected:

Applications you sent, and applications other people sent to your postings Permanently deleted Immediate
Jobs in progress (accepted, on the way, started) Cancelled first, so the other person is told, then permanently deleted Immediate
Live location sharing records for your jobs Permanently deleted Immediate
Chat messages you sent Permanently deleted Immediate
Chats with other people Stay for the other person, closed, and your name shows as “Deleted user”; their own messages remain with them Until they delete their account
Ratings and reviews about you, your rating summary and statistics Permanently deleted Immediate

⚠️ Important Notice

  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
  • You will lose access to all your job history and ratings
  • Jobs in progress are cancelled and the other person is notified; your other postings and applications are removed
  • If you used the app a short while ago you can delete right away; otherwise you are asked to sign in again first, which keeps someone else from deleting your account
  • You can create a new account with the same email after deletion
